The European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA) has awarded framework contracts totalling €16.7 million for full event organisation services across several European locations in a calculated procurement move. The contracts, which cover Malta, Italy, and a number of EU member and associated states, were published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJ S 192/2025) on October 7, 2025, with the goal of supporting operational and administrative meetings and events over the following four years.
Contract Synopsis
To find qualified event management services, the EUAA held an open call process with three lots. Each framework agreement has the following total estimated values for its initial 12-month period, which can be renewed up to three times:-
MEETING POINT EVENTS LTD was granted €5.7 million for Lot 1 in Malta. 10% of the services, which include event planning in the Maltese Islands, are subcontracted to Top 3 Travel Limited.

GATTINONI & CO. S.R.L., POMILIO BLUMM SRL, and ADRIA CONGREX SRL will split the €3 million for LOT 2-Italy (Mainland & Islands), which will cover events at EUAA facilities throughout Italy.

With subcontracting values up to 50%, MEETING POINT EVENTS LTD, PROPAGER SARL, and ADRIA CONGREX SRL were awarded €8 million for LOT 3-Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, the UK, and other EU Member States (apart from Belgium, Malta, Greece, and Italy).

The EU provides all or part of the funding for the procurement project. The award criteria placed a strong emphasis on price (40%) and quality (60%).
