The Ocenaogrphy Malta Research Group needs to upgrade its data centre storage capacity with new enterprise-grade hard disks to meet the demands of the TecMAReco project. This involves the collection and processing of large volumes of environmental data, including high-resolution acoustic recordings, model outputs, and multi-sensor observations. Expanding the storage infrastructure is essential to ensure the secure archiving, fast retrieval, and efficient processing of these datasets. The upgrade will also strengthen the reliability and resilience of the University-s computer cluster, supporting long-term data management needs and enabling collaboration with international project partners.
