Description : The purpose of this Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC) is the gathering of proposals by the Wasteserv Malta Ltd, to evaluate market availability with the aim to install a fixed automated or semi-automated, waste transportation system, at the ECOHIVE Complex. The ECOHIVE Complex is located in Naxxar, Malta and houses a number of waste management facilities. Economic operators are being invited to propose technical solutions and recommend best technologies to transport waste from different plants and landfills, constructed or proposed to be constructed at the ECOHIVE Complex. Reference is being made to the proposed ECOHIVE Complex Masterplan.
The scope of this PMC is to obtain sufficient information to draw up specifications for the technical proposal from competent companies which have implemented at least one (1) similar project in this field. The latter being the external transportation of waste or material via a fixed automated or semi-automated system, to assist in the determination of the best available technology, which fits the needs of WSM to cater for the daily movement of waste within the complex.
