- Description:
- Nitrogen Gas (N2) to provide a low Oxygen (O2) controlled environment, to facilitate the growth of human embryos up to day-5 blastocyst stage. Liquid Nitrogen (LN2), to be used for the long-term cryopreservation of gametes and embryos at -196°C up to -190°C and to fill up smaller devices for routine cryogenic work. N2 is to be supplied in designated gas cylinders on loan and LN2 in supply tanks provided by Mater Dei Hospital (MDH) respectively. These are to be delivered to MDH on a weekly basis, for a period of three (3) years.
